Dream Dictionary..

Well, everyone dreams. However, a normal people just like you and me are unable to define the exact meaning behind the dream. Last night, i was chatting with Ms.Sue about the dreams we had and the dreams that leaves an unforgettable story in our mind. We shared quite number of dreams we had since we were kid and of course, the nightmare that we keep dreaming about.

It's like a message in disguise when certain dreams keep coming to you, but the problem we're facing is that, we found that it's hard (or nearly impossible) to decipher the meaning of the dreams we had. Furthermore, most of the dreams are erased once we awake, you may remember the pieces, but you might not remember the whole story..

There's once, a dream i remember until now, which i had it about 1 month ago (probably after i graduated), and the dream i had was about a tortoise !!! haha XD. It wasn't an ordinary tortoise. One of the pieces of dream i remember is there's a guy explaining to me the detail of the tortoise he's holding. He said "This is Sam Sing Tortoise (preferably means 3 star tortoise), you can see there are different sizes of 3 stars on its back".

Seriously, i don't know what is the message behind all these things until yesterday, Ms Sue deciphered the dream i had with a little help from Uncle Google..tee hee~~

Well, i wouldn't believe 100%, but i found it quite accurate and could be used as guideline in the future. Here is what the dictionary of dream said:


VERSION I:

Tortoises in your dream stand for slow progression and fear of getting involved in risky business. Even if there are plenty of chances and possibilities ahead of you, you are rather skeptic and susceptible and you prefer being steady and not taking the next step towards a higher position or a more important business because you are afraid of failure. However, you should assume the risks and try being more open to new situations, as this will bring you fortune and prosperity.

Also, we should not forget that the tortoise is shielded from predators by a shell, therefore it may symbolize your need to be protected from the outside world by a close friend or family member. If you dream of a tortoise, then you are vulnerable and not strong enough to face alone the jungle of reality and this is why you need a support.

The tortoise may also stand for hidden enemies who are waiting for the right moment to attack you and stab you in the back. The slow-moving animal may also represent the dark, hidden side of your personality, your instincts and primitive desires which should not break the surface of the intellect unless you want to enter a conflict with society and its written or unwritten rules of behavior and morality.

VERSION II:

To see a tortoise in your dream, suggests that you need to take some chances in order to get ahead in life. The opportunities for advancement are opened to you, but you need to take the next step. The tortoise also symbolizes perseverance, determination, and longevity. Alternatively, the tortoise may represent the need to be sheltered or protected from life's problems
