25 Dec 2009 Christmas Day

==============================
Afternoon

==============================

We (my classmate and I) went to Pyramid, planning to “ice-skating”, somehow, we ended up on bowling lane. I’m sure I made a right choice as I saw the skating field is filled up with people ¾ of the field. That is totally awkward.

We paid for the 2 games, chose our colorful shoes, and went to the no.42 bowling lane. 1st game, my score was like shit, just 44, which is the lowest among us. However, miracle happened on the 2nd game, I scored 163 !!! HELL YA!!

Strike 4x in a row..Shahlin will be wowed!

My final score

Lucky no.10 bowling ball

==============================
Night

==============================

I went to Pek’s house…for some blissful dinner prepared by his family. Thanks dude, we had a nice and cheerful dinner. We had several cups of beer and wine after the dinner. We teased, we laughed and felt grateful as we could be gathered around this celebration.

Christmas Eve 2009

Jingle Bell ♫ Jing. . . . . ....HEY! STOP IT!! Santa Claus has returned to North Pole, there are no more bells, only balls are hanging.. It's New Year the one coming, not Merry Christmas...all the Snowmans have been ordered to return to their fridge-house and shit out their vanilla ice cream for the coming summer.

Every bloggers are busy with their own story, well...me too!! Lots of joyful moment happened around me. On that particular day, i was invited by Apple Yap, my secondary classmate to attend a small party. We dined, we crapped, we laughed, we played, and we exchanged gift. Those tiny activities, left a wonderful moment to everyone of us.

Group picture

Wu lala~~~ the x'mas gift

Upon arrived her house, i greet them by saying "Yoyoyoyo, what's up ?" hahaha, sounds like rapping, and without knowing what shyness means, i get myself a plate, wasting no time walked to the table where "bihun goreng" is served.

I walked to another table. . . ."WOOOT?!! APA NI ?!", i was shocked as i saw a stove, a pot and a multi-purpose cooker filled with red oily liquid and yellowish water. My heart whispering " Erm, when Christmas meal has changed to steamboat geh??" Seriously, this is the 1st time to have steamboat on Christmas celebration.

My heart was grinning, but since it seems alright to others, I just grabbed what i felt to eat. These two "black-hole-stomach" puts everything into the pot.

Let's look what we have here:
Yea~~ I know you gonna love it!

After the dinner, we took an opportunity to snapped some memorable moment:

And we played some mini games too !!!

The 1st game we had . . . ( I don't know what it called, but I'm sure you guys know what it is when looking at these pictures )

The 2nd game we had. . . ( again, i have no idea what it called, what we did is spin around the chair with our forehead sticks to the umbrella for 10 times, and then walked to the table where threads and needles are prepared )

The controversy aroused when Apple used a kid for the demonstration. For us, it called child abuse !!

Ok ok...this is the 3rd game we had. . . and this time i know what it called !! It called Scrabble !! We have to think 10 words out from the word CHRISTMAS, any words will do fine.

After the game, we were wondering is there any prizes for the effort we put ? Erm, negative!! It seems the organizer did not prepare any prizes, but who cares?? We just enjoying the stupid moment only.

Zeng zeng zeng. . . The moment we have waiting for...hehe...is the exchange gift. ♫...Wu lala~~♫. . .

Can't wait to see what i get? On that night, we brought cups, chocolates, coupon, cookies and soft toys. What to expect? The budget is between RM10 to RM20 ? I won't expect a Play Station 3 with that price though, or a D-SLR.

Thanks to the theory of "Equivalent value Exchange" presented by Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist, this is what i obtained:

"Not bad huh ?? At least i did not require the Philosopher Stone (贤者之石) to create the pillow. Just a little luck is needed..HAHAHA"

"9" - An awesome amination you should never miss!

Recently, i came across a fantasy animation produced by the Tim Burton, a famous America film director (born August 25, 1958) . As a producer, writer, and an artist, Burton has produced numerous numbers of famous movies, for instance Edward the Scissorhand, Corpse Bride, The Night before Christmas and his coming soon production: Alice in Wonderland! Geez, he's such a talented guy !!

This movie actually should had be onscreen on 9 Sept 09, but somehow, none of the local cinema run this film. I have no ideas why, but i have to say that this sci-fi animation is just awesome, brilliant...marvelous ! I was impressed by the graphic, the color (some sort of cross-process technique) and the action played by those tiny characters. The background of this animation was set after an apocalyptic war between human and machines, where the world is completely destroyed and without human life. "9" was "borned" after his Creator made decision to sacrifice himself to save the world from the machine-brutalization. Let's have a look on some screen shot:

Watch the trailer:

Each characters come with their own thought and behavior, which makes them quite unique on its own. "9"'s voice is played by Elijah Wood, the short guy who starred Frodo in The Lord Of the Ring Trilogy. Let's take a look on the other characters involved in this animation:

9 - Elijah Wood

8 - Fred Tatasciore

7 - Jennifer Connelly

6 - Crispin Glover

5 - John C.Reilly

4 - mute
3 - mute

2 - Martin Landau

1 - Christopher Plummer

The synopsis of this animation is available through the website http://www.fandango.com/9_v332273/summary. Apart from this trailer and introductions, i found a very interesting website about Tim Burton. It is extremely creative website I have seen so far. TRY IT YOURSELF...you'll be amazed. http://www.timburton.com/

Movie summarization:

Storyline: ****

Graphic: *****

Effect: ****

Expression: ***

Creativity: ****

However, there's a few scene that remain unexplained in the film, making the flow of the story slightly sudden. Perhaps it lack of time
( 1 hour 15 minutes ). Overall, this movie is G.O.O.D!

==I wonder why none of local cinema play this film.==
