"9" - An awesome amination you should never miss!

Recently, i came across a fantasy animation produced by the Tim Burton, a famous America film director (born August 25, 1958) . As a producer, writer, and an artist, Burton has produced numerous numbers of famous movies, for instance Edward the Scissorhand, Corpse Bride, The Night before Christmas and his coming soon production: Alice in Wonderland! Geez, he's such a talented guy !!

This movie actually should had be onscreen on 9 Sept 09, but somehow, none of the local cinema run this film. I have no ideas why, but i have to say that this sci-fi animation is just awesome, brilliant...marvelous ! I was impressed by the graphic, the color (some sort of cross-process technique) and the action played by those tiny characters. The background of this animation was set after an apocalyptic war between human and machines, where the world is completely destroyed and without human life. "9" was "borned" after his Creator made decision to sacrifice himself to save the world from the machine-brutalization. Let's have a look on some screen shot:

Watch the trailer:

Each characters come with their own thought and behavior, which makes them quite unique on its own. "9"'s voice is played by Elijah Wood, the short guy who starred Frodo in The Lord Of the Ring Trilogy. Let's take a look on the other characters involved in this animation:

9 - Elijah Wood

8 - Fred Tatasciore

7 - Jennifer Connelly

6 - Crispin Glover

5 - John C.Reilly

4 - mute
3 - mute

2 - Martin Landau

1 - Christopher Plummer

The synopsis of this animation is available through the website http://www.fandango.com/9_v332273/summary. Apart from this trailer and introductions, i found a very interesting website about Tim Burton. It is extremely creative website I have seen so far. TRY IT YOURSELF...you'll be amazed. http://www.timburton.com/

Movie summarization:

Storyline: ****

Graphic: *****

Effect: ****

Expression: ***

Creativity: ****

However, there's a few scene that remain unexplained in the film, making the flow of the story slightly sudden. Perhaps it lack of time
( 1 hour 15 minutes ). Overall, this movie is G.O.O.D!

==I wonder why none of local cinema play this film.==
