Frasier Hill 181209

Frasier hill – nama saja yang sedap didengar. The fact is…disappointing. The plan to Frasier Hill was finally carried out on Dec the 18th, after 1 week of planning. However, the plan was joined by 3 persons only, which has become buddies for 14 years if not mistaken. It took almost 2 ½ hours to reach Frasier Hill. However, it took us another hour at the gateway that leads to the peak of the Frasier Hill, because the gateway was only open for going up at “odd” hour and coming down at “even” hour. This is due to the path which only allow car to moving up and down in a single lane. Before we reached at the gateway (around 40 minute-distance back), we came across a dam with a spectacular scene where we stopped by to snap some picture.

Panorama shot Empangan Kubu baru.

The road was so empty allowed me to get a shot in the middle of the road

Continue on our journey, we came across a small waterfall and took a picture of it:

Here we are at the gateway to Frasier Hill, we arrived exactly 12pm, which means we gotta wait for another hour to move up, and so, we found some spot to rest, and did some crapping. Meanwhile, I snapped again with my Lumix.

We gone up to the peak after an hour, never expecting raining, we shelter ourselves on the peak and had our lunch prepared by me – the “pork in can” with Kannina bread (gardenia). Haha. Snapped some picture at the place where we took shelter.

We continued…came across small path and not-so-interesting tourist spot, somehow I snapped some photos so that the scenery could be shared here:

Yea, i like that PUKI word !!

Damn that stupid Allan’s water…and the flower garden, was closed, we don’t know its either closed forever or just not open for that day, because that day was public holiday in coincidence. However, the board stated it gonna open at 2.00pm, but look at my watch, it’s already 2.20pmdisappointing.

watch showing 2.20pm.

These are the macro shot i took on the Frasier Hill:

Here are the interesting parts; actually I used to be here 4 years ago, with my Form 6 classmate (back to year 2005 where I was 19 yrs old). Let’s see any different at those picture.

Of course, when we go for an outing, a trip wasn’t a trip without an ironic shot.
Ironic JUMP!

“Jom lah, pergi genting..sini apa pun tak ada” suggested Chris, my 14-year buddy. And so, we headed down the hill at 4pm (even hour) planning to next destination, Genting. But somehow, we did not make it as the sky was getting darker.

“Pek, u tau tadi kita lalu itu ‘Thua Jiu Thou’, mau cuba makan?”, I suggested. Initially, Pek refused, but since we haven’t tried this restaurant before, he finally agreed to get a try.
Our next destination:

On the way, we saw rainbow. Under speedy condition, i took out my Lumix and snapped it!!

These were the foods we ordered that day with the receipt:

Yummy

Total : RM64

Let me summarize the trip as a conclusion for this blog:

Atmosphere : *****
Scenery: **
Entertainment: *
Accomodation: ( no idea)
Worthiness: *
Thua Jiu Thou Restaurant: ******** (the most worthy after left Frasier Hill)
