Morning and Afternoon Short trip 12dec2009

Mission : heading to Putrajaya and Alamanda shopping center for a walk.
Troop members
: Mom, sis, bro-in law, nephew and me.

Time
: reached around 9.45am and left around 11.45am.

Well, today is the day, the 1st day I ever step in outside of the corridor of the mosque, which is located in Putrajaya, south of the KL, as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. We did plan to go there for a visit back to 2 days earlier to bring my 20 months nephew and my mother for a trip-walk. The environment of Putrajaya left several praises and criticizes to me as I observed the design and the accommodation which built not far from that land. The environment of Putrajaya is clean, peaceful, free of noise and air pollution which are good reasons for resting and stopover. Additionally, several places have become tourist attractions such as Putra Mosque, Heritage square and Seri Wawasan Bridge are excellent spot for “1st time visitor”.

There are much better things to do for the money"
,
said veteran opposition figure Lim Kit Siang. Not being a criticizer, I actually quite agree with what Lim Kiat Siang said about the project as a symptom of “Megalomania”. It used up at least 20 billion to build the city, which considers a massive waste of money.

Being not-so-fancy about the place I visited last week, I’ll post up the amateur picture I took within the perimeter of Putrajaya.

This is the Malay girl i tackle in the mosque. Hahahaa, just kidding ! She's my sister in the not-so-cool pinky robe. I think the purpose of wearing this is to show the respect of the Muslim. But only women are compulsory to wear it. =.=lll

Some Kawaiian Japs girls are on their trip too ^^ sadly no chance to say HI to them..

Under the Bridge

After leaving Putrajaya around 11.45am, we went to a small town, a rural area not far from “Megalomania” to have our lunch. Before we reached the town, I saw a Chinese graveyard beside the trunk road. Dengkil the named given, is a small Chinese town located about 20-minute distance from Putrajaya, where nice and worthy food can be found there. We drop by and had our precious lunch at a sea food restaurant.

The food we ordered from the restaurant: Vegie, Own-made tofu, Marmite pork and Salty egg yolk prawn.

The prices are shown clearly on the board. Look at the "forget-not" fish, costing you RM80.00 per 100 gram, imagine you order 1 kilo.. @.@! *siao liao*

To finalize the "ke-tasty-an" of the food ordered, multiple thumbs up for the receipt!!

By the way, not an excellent trip, but really enjoy the food we had, ah, sedap! the most important thing is....

I DO NOT NEED TO PAY FOR THE MEAL. I ATE IT FOR FREE !! \(O.O)/ WUUUHOOO~~

  1. I agree tat build this "Megalomania" is waste of money. In addition, i dun really appreciate Putrajaya Middle East Design Architecture. Malaysian have our own identity. As a federal administrative centre of Malaysia, it should derived idea from our own identity instead being copy cat. Anyway,ur photo takng skill of the pic "under the bridge" is marvelous.:)
