Mural Artisticism

Most of the time, people used to edit their photos in order to create a dazzling and astonishing photo of themselves. For me, the usage of editing software can be widen as it might creates other impressive effects depends on creativity and inspiration. For instance, we may find tons of idea on what we saw everyday, such as movie, music, weather, people, landscape, home appliances, trashes and much much more. By observing our environment, some ideas will automatically constructed in your mind, and what we need to do is storming our brain for a while to create another art-piece in different point of view.

-A mural-wannabe gruesome portrait-

Well, this is the 2nd picture i victimize myself. However, there is no real picture in this portrait where only brush tool is used..but the structure of the face and body are constructed using a background with a real picture in it.

To be honest, this idea of this gruesome picture was taken when i watch an anime called "Full Metal Alchemist" where Alphonse's wearing a piece of heavy armor with a red glowing eye in him. Although his appearance is not in gruesome condition, what i did was get my mind twisted in another point of view, and try to reconstruct and add some effects on the masterpiece.

In this project, i can conclude the difficulty to create this portrait by 4/10. In fact, this is not as hard as imagine..because most of the step involve color-picking using Eyedropper Tool and normal brush technique..that's all. Additional techniques are masking and general color/hue adjustment =)

As previously, i will post my silly face photo which i used as a background of my project. All the idea and creativity are cluster together in order to create a gruesome and disturbing portrait. In future, hopefully can share some other taste of editing.
