Boring wedding dinner.

Last night (26 Jan 2010), i went to a wedding dinner with my mom, which was invited by old friend of her. The invitation was supposed directed to my parents and not me, but somehow, my father will never attend any single occasion in his entire life. That's the reason i have to accompany my mom. Such a good boy =)

Wedding, suppose to be a blissful and meaningful event for those attended to the occasion, however it did not overwhelmed me, totally not. Im quite emo this few days internally, I try not to think the coming upset Chinese New Year. I don't know what i want, i was in dilemma on making a decision. A decision i was so afraid to make. A decision that i hope God could help me to decide.

The delightful moment of wedding was escorted by a sentimental song "Nothing's gonna change my love for you", this song was too typical on every wedding occasion, where i can say i'm bored of it. Somehow, i felt this song in my heart that moment. A moment that i could imagine someone was about to leave you. A moment that you wish you never say goodbye. A moment that you wish you could stop the time eternally. Seriously, I was with the music so deeply that moment.

All of the sudden, a typical instant where all the lights turn off to serve the astonishing food, the music has changed dramatically.

♫ i gotta feeling~♫♫~tonight will be a good good night~~♫

I was like what the FUCK ? what the heck feeling the DeeJay wants? Today isn't your day, it's the day of JUST MARRIED. If you want to change music, please put the right music on the right time, just don't simply play "spoil-the-mood" music. Suddenly sentimental suddenly pop. Kanasai DJ. . .Obviously, the DeeJay ruined my feeling once again, not even poped me at all !

Well, I really got the feeling, but not the Black Eye Pea's feeling but the feeling of getting bored when at got there. Hell ya, my prediction was too accurate, my mom and I were assigned to the table No.1, which is allocated in the very corner of the restaurant. I was like, What the FUCK "again" ?? The worst thing, i could never able to see any hot chicks around me, the nearest angel was sitting 5 tables away. . . .beside me was an aunty, which can be consider as gramps, next to her was an middle age aunty, carrying her 3 years old child. In front of me, a pair of middle age married, and the one who sit beside my mom was a pair of old married. Aduhai~~~sakit mata and hati. Im gonna bang the wall behind me !!! (cry)

The smartest thing i had ever done that night, was to bring my precious PSP there. "PSP, you are my Teman Sejati, you are my heart and my soul, NOTHING'S GONNA CHANGE MY VALUE FOR YOU !!!!"

有时候,当想哭可是不能流泪,比流泪的人更难过。不想了解和懂的人会比做决定的人更伤心。--- The feeling that i had when listening to that song. ---

MSN fake bot

Yesterday i came across a case, where an anonymous sent me a few lines of messages through MSN messenger. Initially, i thought she was an ordinary person who are adding around people to join the community, but i was wrong. She was a bot!! , an annoying bot to invite u to join cybersex, to key in your credit card number and your MSN username and password..FUCK.

Seriously, it was the 1st time i encountered something like this, but we have to be smart, you see, the bot never answer u exactly the question you throw on it. I asked for A it answered B, basically this is what i called fucking noob bot. ( Click to enlarge )

There's a rumor saying that MSN will be closed down. The reason? It is stated below:

"This is Tara and John, the directors of MSN. We would like to sincerely apologize for the interruption, but msn is closing down. We?know many of these messages have been sent out lately, and that they wouldn't be true. However, this one is in fact true, and it will occur soon.?

MSN will begin to charge you money soon. This is due to the fact that too many inconsiderate people are taking up all the names (ie. making up lots of different accounts for just one person). Therefore, we only have 578 names left."

Personally, i don't feel MSN will be closed and will charge our money, but the 1st paragraph was true, there are too many irresponsible users on MSN. Two of my friends (Ivan and Mun Boon)'s account have been hacked, their account sent me several anonymous links to me but when i asked them, they have no idea what i have been talking about. This is shit, man !!!

Masterpiece master~~piece!!

Well, this is my 2nd time i color my cousin's sketch he sent to me last few days, however this time is more challenging because the character's posture and perspective are slightly strange. It definitely seems alright when it is in Original form ( without color), but when i started to coloring it, i feel weird when came to the hand, collar, neck, and shoes. Having no choice, I have to change it myself to make it looks more natural way.

ORiginal sketch

60% of coloring

80% of coloring

90% of coloring

100% of coloring

~~I satisfied with my work. Wuuuhoo~~

Another Masterpiece. . . 1st time coloring with PS!

Last 3 days i received few pictures from my cousin from Australia and these pictures are 100% sketched by himself. Seriously, he has a natural talent in drawing since he was a small kid, which makes me feel pretty impressive about him.

The things he asked me to do was quite simple, to colorize his sketches with PS! Well, i never done any editing like this before but, hell ya, i just give it a try and the result was. . . SATISFIED.

ORiginal sketch

70% of the coloring

100% done

Voice Of the Younger Generation In Malaysia

I was reading an e-mail sent by my friend and i found that it was a good article about Sharyn Lisa Shufiyan, Tunku Abdul Rahman's great granddaughter. I found it interesting and i quite support the facts she mentioned in the article below.

Sharyn completed her Diploma in Advertising from Taylor's College, and then left motherland to pursue her BA degree majoring in Media Studies and Anthropology at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. While waiting for her graduation in May 08, she interned briefly at M&C Saatchi Wellington, a global advertising firm. Upon returning to Malaysia, jobless and relieved of rent payments, Sharyn stumbled upon Wild Asia through The Star which sparked her interest to learn more about nature and environmental causes. Armed with a communications background, Sharyn works on the Wild Asia website and editorial, translating geek terms into laymen language, easily accessed and understood by visitors regardless of their backgrounds, be it scientific, business, the arts or just plain interested.

"
Both my parents are Malay. My mum's heritage includes Chinese, Thai and Arab, while my dad is Minangkabau. Due to my skin colour, I am often mistaken for a Chinese.
I'm happy that I don't have the typical Malay look but I do get annoyed when people call me Ah Moi or ask me straight up "Are you Chinese or Malay"

Like, why does it matter? Before I used to answer "Malay" but now I'm trying to consciously answer Malaysian instead.

There's this incident from primary school that I remember till today. Someone told me that I will be called last during Judgement Day because I don't have a Muslim name. Of course, I was scared then but now that I'm older, I realise that a name is just a name. It doesn't define you as a good or bad person and there is definitely no such thing as a Muslim name. You can be named Rashid or Ali and still be a Christian.

I've heard of the 1 Malaysia concept, but I think we don't need to be told to be united. We've come such a long way that it should already be embedded in our hearts and minds that we are united. Unfortunately, you can still see racial discrimination and polarisation. There is still this ethno-centric view that the Malays are the dominant group and their rights must be protected, and non Malays are forever the outsiders.

For the concept to succeed, I think the government should stop with the race politics. It's tiring, really. We grew up with application forms asking us to tick our race. We should stop painting a negative image of the other races, stop thinking about 'us' and 'them' and focus on 'we', 'our' and 'Malaysians'.

No one should be made uncomfortable in their own home. A dear Chinese friend of mine said to me once, "I don't feel patriotic because I am not made to feel like Malaysiais my home, and I don't feel an affinity to China because I have never lived there.

I know some baby Nyonya friends who can trace their lineage back hundreds of years. I'm a fourth generation Malaysian. If I am Bumiputra, why can't they be, too? Clearly I have issues with the term.

I think the main reason why we still can't achieve total unity is because of this 'Malay rights' concept. I'd rather 'Malay rights' be replaced by human rights. So unless we get rid of this Bumiputra status, or reform our views and policies on rights, we will never achieve unity.

For my merdeka wish, I'd like for Malaysians to have more voice, to be respected and heard. I wish that the government would uphold the true essence of parliamentary democracy. I wish for the people to no longer fear and discriminate against each other, to see that we are one and the same.

I wish that Malaysia would truly live up to the tourism spin of Malaysia truly Asia. Malaysians to lead - whatever their ethnic background. Only ONE NATIONALITY MALAYSIAN. No Malays, No Chinese, No Indians - ONLY MALAYSIANS. Choose whatever religion one is comfortable with.

Remember it was Dr M & UMNO who destroyed Tunku's Malaysia.

MERDEKA MERDEKA MERDEKA "
