===============================================================

Pek (Christopher) arrived at my house at 0911 hour. I grabbed my bags with clothes and towel inside, heading down to my apartment to meet with him. We then went to Selayang to fetch Pia (Yeong) and finally to Manjalara to fetch Low and had our breakfast.

Around 1030, we started our 1 day trip. Unexpectedly, we jammed at the highway due to accident and arrived at Sungkai at 1200. Its super sunny and hot.. I was wondering should I go and "soak" my body into the water?? It’s like insane job man..Even so, we gotta try it, as we already here, it’s wasted if came here without trying the hot spring, it so meaningful huh..We parked our car, walk into the recreation area and found a group of people soak their leg into the water. Not far from that, I saw another group of people, with their own basket containing eggs were soaking in the hot spring water.

Erm, any special point and meaning eating egg here?

We then walked around the recreation area before we entered the hot spring pool.

[A medium size fountain]

The temperature of the hot spring is from 50-60degree Celsius, plus the hot sunny day, it wasn’t fun at all..However, I’m sure it’s pretty awesome if the weather is moody. Since we were here, we must try the feeling we dip into the hot spring. We soaked for half an hour and immediately away from the hot spring.

[man-made Hot Spring Pool]

According to my friends, there is a mountain spring at the other side of the park. Without hesitating, we rushed to the cold side right after we had our BLOODY HELL EXPENSIVE lunch there.

We spent 1 hour in the mountain spring because it started to rain. We packed our things and drive out from the TRAP (Taman Rekreasi Air Panas) around 1530.

I like that pose..good work, keep it up =P

[At 1520 hour] :

“What’s the plan next?”

“Jom cari makan lah…”

“mana??”

“kuala selangor…eat seafood”

“Klang lah”

“But Klang is bak kut teh lah…”

“Let’s find near sungkai la..seafood, my fren recommend one..you guys follow my car”

“Alright..”

And so, we went to a Chinese restaurant located at 35, Jln Besar, 35600 Sungkai, Perak.

We ordered, sit there and waited for almost 20 minutes before we get served. Here is the food we ordered:

Wow..that’s the reaction when the bill is on the table. RM 218.50. What the heck??? It’s look like we kena sembelih….the foods are cheap..except the fish. RM 120. What the F ? I say nothing but just take my wallet out, and pay the amount divided fairly by 9 persons. Initially, we did not plan to order fish..as we know the fish price is high, but one of my friend which is worked as fish distributor said this fish is extremely rare in KL, so let’s have a try and we agree without asking the price. And so, we were slaughtered.

Moral of the trip, never never order fish..if u want to..ask the price 1st.

Hill Of Light 26 Nov 2009

“RRRiiiing!!!!!”….. The clock embedded in the Sony Ericsson’s phone rang at 7am. It’s time to wake up and prepare my 1-day cycling trip at Bukit Cahaya, located at Shah Alam. We had discussed to gather at PJ before we move to the destination. After a cup of coffee, I grabbed all my gears and roll out from my house. I met Yaw Cheung at his house and from there, as we drove to PJ to fetch others friends.

Bukit Cahaya was once known as Taman Pertanian where most of the plant species are kept here. However, there are several activities can be organized here nowadays such as jogging, cycling, fishing and some extreme games such as Skytrex, Flying fox and Cargo net. Our main objective in this park today was cycling. It’s been a few years I had not touch my bicycle, wondering myself able to cycle with the rusted skill.

After we reach there, we stood and sit for about 20 minutes just to wait for another guy who late for the activity…KongXY was the name, stay at Klang and the nearest from Shah Alam comparing us (PJ)

This is the picture we took at the entrance of the park.

For the activity we had there, it costs less than RM10 including the parking which is RM 1, entrance fee RM 3, and the rental fee of bicycle RM 3 for the first hour, and RM 1 for the following hour.

Once we reached the bicycle hut around 10.35am, we chose “the-best-bicycle-you-can-found-there”. Some of the bicycle there were not working, either its brake system of the gear mechanism, but some of it is really in good condition. Depends on your luck and observation, you might find a good bike there.

We moved out from the staring point, cycling towards the hill. It was so great at the beginning of the cycling session, after 20 minutes, I started to sweat, exhausted and my knee feel numb. It simply indicates that I had not had cycling for a long period of time. We decided to take a short break as we felt exhausted in the initial state.

We moved again to the next destination which is about 10 minutes distance. There is a tower built near a lake. It wasn’t a splendid scene as we expected because the water of the lake is in dark green-brownish color. But, we saw a “sign” from the top of the tower. A sign that points out danger of the human kind. THERE IS CIRCLE CROP…A MALAYSIAN MADE CIRCLE CROP!! Hahahahaha.

We take another short break at the top of the tower about 5 minutes and continue back to our journey.

Initially, we were cycling with another group of friends, but we were “abandoned” because of our slowness. But it’s definitely fine, we could enjoy in our way. We continue cycling to another directionless destination. Where there’s a road, and that is our path. We come along a road which requires a lot of courage to carry on.

JALAN BERANI (wondering is there any Jalan Berahi )

However, two young and brave skinny guys make up his guts and challenge the dead path. He cycled up the trail about 20 meters and then speed up down to our side. Very thumbs up for them!

Kong and Gaven the rempitzz~~

We move again…and came across a tiny pond at the side of the road, the tiny pond was so clear and there are some fishes live in it. The sun shines onto the pond, reflects the pond making it looks blurs. A colorful dragonfly was found near the pond and I decided to use macro shot to capture it down. However, my camera capability limits me to take a quality shot.

Finally, we reached to the terminal of the park, which is the highest point of somewhere of the park, and the most worthy place to be visited. Given the named “taman empangan baru”, a medium size of dam is built there and some fishing activities can be done here.

Fishes swim in anti-clockwise direction endlessly.

Fishes are kept in the fixed size square.

Hot sunny day promotes everybody to drink icy cold 100 plus which sold at price RM 2. Do you guys earn salary from 100 plus for the advertisement??

CHEERS!!

The only 3 86’s young man in the group.

It’s time to back. We cycle back at around 1300. It’s hell hot at that time. We have to rest several times to back to the starting point. The greatest time is when we speeding down the slope like rempit..wow, the feeling is indescribable. Now I understand what rempit feels when they speeding, although it involves the danger risk.

Nice to have this kinda activity once in awhile.

Eerie yet artistic, disturbing but sophisticated

Yo, folks~ the use of photoshop is to create or modify normal or some say “fugly” still images to sparkling or “wow” life images. But have you ever imagine or try to create a creepy portrait? Yea.. in this post I’m going to show you guys a photoshoped images with eerie and disturbing graphic, but yet quite artistic, sophisticated picture..

[Here it is…Terminator version chinese you would say?? Rock ya!!]

Well, I know this ugly and some say disgusting I might think. Even my mom says “touchwood” after I asked her to have a look on what I had created. It gives dunno-how-to-describe(disturbing) feeling when looking at this picture, even I felt “yiak” during the progress. I have to look at my own picture for the whole session. The reason I use my own picture is I don’t want to victimize others handsome and pretty faces. hereby i attach my seductive face...the face that look like a slaughter after cleanse.

[My silly face..yet handsome]

Ok ok, what so interesting about this picture is, beside my own seductive look, all the materials used in this picture are commonly found in my bathroom! No other items outside the bathroom are used in the photoshop editing session. Cool……

This picture took me about half day to complete it (if count seriously). The actual duration to finish this project is around 2 weeks, where my own picture and the bathroom material are taken. I get this idea is around 3 weeks ago. Well, the reason it takes so much time to complete this single picture can be described using 4 letters: L.A.Z.Y

So, let’s have a look on the material I used for this project. Cast iron T-joint, wire from water heater, aluminum-coated hose, water tap, rusted-clip, towel hanger, door knob, lever-type water tap, glass shelf holder and last but not least connector.

[ Material used only found in my bathroom]

The difficulty of this project…I might say immediate level, because most of the steps involve the masking technique, brightness/contrast and Hue/saturation adjustment. Another technique is simple as make shadow for every pieces of material. By doing this, the materials used will look more contrast and realistic. I divided those parts into respectively folders touch-up; cheek; ear; nose; eye; forehead; mouth & chin. The purpose is to ease me up when I want to edit, since it is messy as each particular folder contains 6 or 7 or more layers and I did not manage them in proper way.

[Multi folders and layers used]

One fun thing is when I removed my own picture, I found that the frame becomes eerie no more and what extra is a cute and completely different from what we see initially.

[Plain Version of Terminator]

So, is my face making the picture look ghostly and disturbing?? I’m doubt!
